Found this little home town Cafe thanks to Yelp and glad we did. Was going up I-4 and just searched for eateries near by. Very friendly. Had planned to try the chicken salad based on reviews but we sat out on the cute patio and the smell of grilled burgers grabbed us. Burgers were good and cooked to order. Husband liked the sweet potato fries too. Cute decor

Was recommended this place and I am glad we came . Have been back twice so far . Breakfast was incredible . Lunch was just as good . They let you sample some of what they offer. Everyone super nice . Priced right . Will be trying their dinners.

A really great, local, kinda hole-in-the wall place. Locals love it.

Saw great comments about this place so we went out our way to find it. It was worth the extra miles. Great food, great service, excellent atmosphere. Obviously is the home town favorite for all the locals.

This place is in the middle of nowhere but it is half way between my friend and I so we met for an early lunch. Really small place, but clean and has cute decor. I ordered breakfast which was delicious. 2 eggs over easy, sausage, grits, and toast for $5. Such a great price and it was delicious. It was not quite lunchtime yet, but the waitress let my friend order their gourmet grilled cheese which has 2 different cheeses on Texas toast. I am not sure what she thought of it, but it didn't look like anything special when it came to the table. This place makes their own potato chips, but they were not quite ready so they let her substitute for potato salad. All in all a great place that I would try again.

This place was great for our group. We had 10 people and sat outside in the back between the restaurant and a small store. The store according to the people in the group had everything!! I had the Hawaiian salad which had pineapple, mandarin oranges, lettuce, chicken salad and I had the vand. onion dressing. It was great!!! The chicken salad is awesome!!

This is a great cafe, perfect old school Mom & Pop operation. Food is great, prices are great, service is better! Menu is limited, but what is on there is outstanding! What more could you ask for?

I have only eaten breakfast here, but it is good. My wife says the eggs Benedict is good. I am always searching for that great corned beef hash, this was not it. Fellow Yelpers, this is a good, solid spot for breakfast, quaint, you can sit out in the courtyard. It won't disappoint you, the problem it is in A dump of a town

This tiny cafe' is located on Lake Alfred's two-block antique row. We stopped here while antiquing in central Florida, and we think it's worth a trip on its own merits. The interior is cool and comfortable on a warm day, with vintage decor (including some really cute shadowbox tables spotlighting various small antiques); the small dining area opens into a larger shaded patio that's also home to the cafe's grill. And indeed the food is scratch-made and very good. On our recent visit we had the day's special, a simple lunch plate of a hamburger and chips -- but the hamburger was fresh-grilled to order out back, and the potato chips were made from scratch. The thick burger had just a hint of seasoning, and my "everything" version included an absolutely ripe fresh tomato slice -- heaven for a Northerner this time of year. The homemade chips were paper thin, crisp and so good that we ordered a second helping. If we'd have had room for dessert I noticed a toothsome three-layer coconut cake and orange cake sitting on the counter, either of which would have been a good choice. The staff was the epitome of southern hospitality. We totally enjoyed our lunch here.
